I’m trying a new thing. It is a little scary. I also know my attention span is not always the greatest. I’ve done a blog before. It lasted about a year and a half (off and on), then I lost momentum. I have decided part of the problem with the previous blog was the open-ended format I created: I wrote about everything. This blog will not do that. Paper & String will be about the two things I love most (besides my dog): books and knitting with all things relating thereto.
Sometimes I will review books, sometimes I will document a current knitting project, sometimes I will talk about authors I love, sometimes I will wax philosophical about needle types. You get the idea.
Regular posts will begin September 1 and I am setting a goal of 2 posts a month. This seems both achievable and a reasonable pace. If it goes well and I’m enjoying it, that number will go up, but maybe it won’t. The design will evolve and get much better than the current out-of-the-box look (you have to start somewhere). Maybe you will get super lucky and I’ll post a lot (I would not bet on this possible future, keep your expectations where the world puts them: low).
I tell you this to set your expectations (and mine) and to keep me honest. I want to give you--imaginary reader--something fun that will hopefully give you some crafty ideas or a new book to keep you reading late.
Happy crafting.
Happy reading.
